H is for… Hot Shots : Part Deux

This is what I like to call ‘my favourite film’.

Oh Charlie Sheen, what have you done.

    • I had made an almost complete list, but i accidentally deleted it. I’m just winging it now.

      “T.. T is for Turtle.”

  1. A good start Owen. I am yet to see any Kurusowa films… incredibly. But I’m sure I wil at some point. I’ve heard Ikiru is good. Blade Runner is just ok for me, a tad over-rated and not that enjoyable to watch but an undoubtedly striking aesthetic, bold and ahead of its time. I like that it has a philosophical element to it, existential. The Coens films are certainly popular but their endings usually leave me wanting. No Country For Old Men was overrated in my opinion.

  2. Finest directorial moment? It’s definitely up there but I’ll see your Jaws and raise you a Schindler’s List…actually sod that! Hook and The Terminal!

  3. Regarding “King, Stephen” and your use of The Lawnmower Man.

King had his name taken off the credits because the only thing remotely similar to the “source” material is the title (which is admittedly very similar, in fact I’d go one further and say it’s exactly the same). So that’s the crap one you’re referring to, yes?

Join me here in pedantic corner won’t you?

    • Having never read any of the source material for any of those films, you could tell me that for any of them and i would have to defer to you out of pure ignorance. Point taken. Do you want me to remove it?

    • I do believe there is true potential. Maybe I’ll go on Dragons Den,

They’d be mugs not to invest!

    • Actually stuck, I just wanted something less obvious than X-Men.

I have a Z lined up, and don’t think Y should be that difficult.

      AARRGGHHH!!

      Any Suggestions?
