That’s all very well and good, but what are they supposed to do now, how do they top that?! I pity the next superhero film lined up.
Also, the Hulk always was my favourite… still is.

I’m not sure as a standalone film this will get many revisits, but as a prologue to The Avengers film next year its pretty suitable, An hors d’oeuvre to wet the taste buds.
Hugo Weavings’ impersonation of Werner Hurzog is one particular highlight, if just a little bit distracting.
Would be very easy to make this out to be better than it really is, the last proper X-Men film was a complete turkey, so I would be safe to say the only way was up.
James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender carry this film. The rest is just same old. Was hoping for more from the Kick-Ass team.
I inappropriately laughed out loud in the cinema, when Michael Ironside appeared.. Gareth, Jordan and Michael Ironside’s fault.
Ok here goes…
Thor had every potential to be the most thorendous and thoroughly over the top pile of cheese and ham. I thort it turned out thoright.
Sorry, not the most enlightening review, might have to get the thorsaurus.
Bring on Cap and The Avengers!
Maybe the makers blew their budget for this film on the 3 minute montage near the start of this film. One where Wolverine and the other guy (with Meg Griffins’ super power) are shown fighting in a bunch of different wars from the American Civil War up to Nam. With that done there appears that they had no money left for good actors, script-writing of any kind and special effects. Cello-taping kitchen knives to Hugh Jackmans hands would actually have looked better than the attempts show here.
Spiderman 3 and Batman and Robin might just have some competition for worst superhero film ever. Two thumbs down.
