To Whomever it May Concern

Its ridiculous to think it but its almost 10 years since a select group of final year, Brynteg comprehensive school friends combined to select 37 songs that would define the time, our friendship and said everything we wanted the world or each other to hear… or at least we may have thought they did at the time.

The concept was that Fran Watkins, Gareth Roberts,  Jon Davies, Simon Tunster and myself would select a 30 minutes of the best songs that came to mind. Mix them together to create a playlist that summed up the music we loved.

Anyway as time pasts, perspectives and tastes change or possibly don’t, and i’m thinking its coming to the point where its almost as intriguing as it is necessary for some of us, that we can express what we now love and listen to.

So i’m proposing a new compilation following the same rules. I’m open to suggestions if anyone wants to expand the media beyond music. But the root of it for me is, what are the 7 or 8 songs that would now make the playlist for you!

Don’t blurt them out now but have a think about it, and if you want to go with this let me know below.

Ha ha!! Ah, fond memories. It must have been a long time ago because Jord wasn’t involved (and Simon was… Anyone remember what he looks like?) or did we leave him out because we didn’t want him to spoil it with all his American boy band trash ;) ?

My exams are over on the 14th and I will add this on to my list of things to do. Can we definitely do this? I’m pretty excited.

    How many songs?

Will be interesting to see how the songs do or don’t change over the decades… I’m staring to worry because I listened to radio 2 all the way into hospital this morning. Had to stick Kanye West on, on my way home just to feel young and wigga-like again…
